Areg AI has signed definitive agreements to acquire Ansasol Services, one of Spain's most experienced solar O&M providers, establishing a direct operational presence in one of Europe's largest and most strategic solar markets. The agreement was signed at Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich.

Why Spain, Why Ansasol Services

Spain is the second-largest solar market in the European Union, with over 48 GW of installed photovoltaic capacity as of the end of 2025, according to SolarPower Europe. The country added nearly 9 GW of solar PV in 2025 alone, and its National Energy and Climate Plan targets 76 GW of solar by 2030. For any company building a European O&M operation, Spain is where scale and irradiance meet.

Ansasol Services brings more than two decades of operational experience in the Spanish photovoltaic market. Founded in 2004, the company has built a track record across utility-scale and commercial solar installations in Andalusia and beyond, covering the full project lifecycle from development and construction through to operations and maintenance.

What Changes With the Acquisition

With Ansasol Services becoming part of Areg AI, the combined operation brings together deep local market knowledge and field experience with Areg AI's full-stack technology platform — including Master SCADA, Digital Twin, AI diagnostics, the ARPI AI agent, and autonomous robotic systems.

The acquisition gives Areg AI an operational base in Spain from which to deploy its integrated O&M model across the country and into the broader European market — combining technology-driven performance optimization with the kind of on-the-ground presence that utility-scale solar operations require.
